Newton opens new distribution centre
Newton Waterproofi ng, one of the UK’s leading independent designers and suppliers of guaranteed waterproofi ng systems, has opened a new distribution centre in Leeds, giving customers in the north of the UK quicker and easier access to the company’s extensive range
of waterproofi ng products, technical services and delivery options. Opening its doors this month, the Newton Northern Distribution Centre will supply customers with the company’s complete range of structural waterproofi ng and damp proofi ng products.

Soprema’s BBA for the Alsan 770 liquid applied waterproofi ng fl at roofi ng system has recently been updated to include zero falls and blue roofs and the inclusion of a warm roof scenario
with Sopratherm G insulation. In addition, the system is included in the Fire Annex of the certifi cate and is classifi ed as Broof(t4) in accordance with EN13501-5: 2016 and therefore is unrestricted with respect to proximity. A 2-component high performance PMMA based resin, Alsan 770 is used with a reinforcement fl eece to create a seamless, durable and reliable waterproofi ng membrane.
