SAFETY & SECURITY; LANDSCAPING & EXTERNAL WORKS

BETOCONCEPT dry-build solutions

Grass Concrete offer retaining walls for road highways or the simplest garden or boundary walls that feature: planting, colour, shape or textured fi nish. The Betoconcept range brings different shapes and styles to accommodate planting on high or low walls. The range combines

reduced noise levels with attractive vertical landscapes, offering a real variety of planting options as an alternative to what would be otherwise dull and un-inspiring structures. The range offers the ability to free-form wall layouts in single or terraced wall format.

Pyroguard’s fi re safety glass was recently specifi ed for The Netherlands’ Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, the world’s fi rst publicly accessible art storage facility. A stunning ovoid shaped building standing 40m tall, with refl ective mirrors covering its surface, the depot receives anywhere from 150,000 to 250,000 visitors a year.

Pyroguard Protect fi re safety glass was installed throughout the building’s internal partitions, providing a high-performance 1B1 impact protection and EI60 fi re resistance.

Get your garden summer ready

Spring is the perfect time to think about preparing outdoor spaces for the summer months ahead, but while the great British weather cannot be relied on, a Glass Room from CRL provides the perfect solution. Featuring an intelligent modular design, the aluminium structure means very few supports are needed even over large areas. The innovative connectors give a high degree of fl exibility with many variations possible, while optional extras including sliding doors, vertical blinds and ceiling blinds makes it simple to create a unique space that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons. It was the all-weather element of the Glass Room that led to it being chosen in a residential property in Poynton, with the owners wanting to make the most of their garden year-round. They called on CRL to help open the outside space while protecting it from the weather and retaining the gorgeous views. The system’s modular design enables the Glass Room to be confi gured to suit any space, from simple rectangles to more complex L shape designs.
