Meg @tod3 Hi, everyone! We are already on our second unit. I am super excited to read it! I have heard so much about this book already.

I’m excited too! Usually I prefer science fiction books, but I have seen that it has over 600 reviews on Amazon. It has so many 5 stars! It is a recount of her life.

I love reading recounts. They can be newspaper articles, diaries, biographies or memoirs. This is a memoir by Malala Yousafzai, who risked her life to go to school.

Wow, what an inspiration! I wonder what events led this to happen? I can’t believe she had to fight for education. I just take it for granted! I think this is going to be a real eye-opener. Let’s get reading!
