Blackpool Sands 45 New for 2023!
Blackpool Sands Takeaway has recently opened with the most delicious food on a menu that’s committed to sustainability and focused on local Devon producers. Imagine enjoying daily landed fish and chips that are gluten free, curried monkfish scampi, LA Style smashburgers, southern fried chicken burgers, a bucket of crispy chicken wings or a Dartmouth crab sandwich. Vegans and vegetarians are well served, and kids have their own menu too. For early starters, breakfast - with a huge range of options like pastries fresh from the oven, baps and burritos - is a great way to refuel after a morning dip.
This is seaside eating at its best in an idyllic South Devon setting on a first come, first served basis and is a great choice for families - with children able to play on the beach while parents sit and enjoy the views. It’s perfect also for those wanting a pit stop on their South West Coast Path hikes and locals wanting to pop out for a bite to eat.

who have joined forces with Dartmouth hoteliers Charlie and Zuzana Deuchar to create this new and exciting eating experience with its waste minimal approach to menu planning, and a commitment to supporting smaller producers who want to reduce their impact on the planet. The takeaway is also entirely plastic and glass free.
The new takeaway will open every day 9am to 5pm, with extended hours during the summer season and live music on the first Saturday morning of every month.
Breakfast is served from 9am until 11am and the lunch menu from noon. Simply turn up with a beach chair, eat at one of the permanent picnic tables, take a seat in the temporary indoor area, or grab a blanket and enjoy the views on the beach.
