Immerse yourself in the world of friction and lubrication at the 25th International Colloquium on Tribology in

The Technical Academy Esslingen (TAE) invites you to the 25th International Colloquium on Tribology in Ostfildern/Stuttgart. From January 27 to 29, 2026, experts from science and industry will meet to exchange insights on current research and practical applications.
The three-day programme includes around 120 presentations in five parallel tracks and provides a comprehensive overview of modern tribological developments. Thanks to the hybrid “Flex” format, participants can join either on-site or online.
An accompanying industry exhibition will showcase the latest products and services. A highlight will be the first presentation of the Wilfried Bartz Award
during the conference dinner, which recognises outstanding contributions by young scientists in the field of tribology.
Various networking formats offer opportunities to connect with participants from over 30 countries. The colloquium is an important meeting point for anyone working in the fields of friction, lubrication, and wear.
