David Baldacci, Danielle Steel and Ann Cleeves were among its profitable fiction brands, and a renewed focus on backlist made it a fine year for the children’s division. China, Australia and Germany were among the best performing territories. Pan Mac’s team cemented their reputation as a proactive collaborator on sales and marketing around the world. “They are passionate book people and vora- cious readers. Working with them is a pleasure and an inspiration,” said one overseas bookseller.
