Aki is the director of The Literary Consultancy, the UK’s longest-running editorial consultancy for writers, providing edit- ing services, mentoring and literary events. She is a trustee of Poetry London, and sits on the advisory board for the award-winning publisher Penned in the Margins.

contemporary historians, educationalists, commentators and political authors. He was a transformative head for 20 years, first of Brighton College and then Wellington College.

David became publisher of Little, Brown in 2011, publishing authors such as Mitch Albom, Mark Billingham, Val McDermid
and J K Rowling. He became c.e.o. of Orion and Little, Brown in 2015, and in January 2018 became group c.e.o. of Hachette UK. David is a director of the Publishers Association and leads the Consumer Publishers Council.
Marc Sieper Bastei Lübbe
After a spell as a sales manager for mass-market books, in 1996 Marc founded Lübbe Audio, the audiobook arm of Bastei Lübbe AG, which is now one of Germany’s leading audio publishers. He has numerous Golden Disc awards, and won the Deutscher Hoerbuch Preis (German Audiobook Award) for Best Publishing Performance in 2015.

Kika is a co-owner and director of Zed Books, an independent non-fiction publishing house based in London, which is also the world’s biggest publishing collective.
Mark Stay Te Bestseller Experiment
Mark has worked in book- selling and publishing for more than 25 years, and co-wrote the feature film “Robot Overlords” with director Jon Wright. Mark also wrote the film’s novelisation for Gollancz, and is the co-presenter of podcast “The Bestseller Experiment” .

James worked in academic and educational publishing at Palgrave for 10 years, spending the last three as its Higher Education global sales director. In 2017 James bacame
m.d.at Trigger Publishing. Trigger is a young, independent publisher focused exclusively on mental health.
Jon Watt Bonnier Publishing UK
Jon is head of audio at Bonnier Books UK. He joined the company from its sister company, Bonnier Books Ventures, in January 2018. A former journalist, he was associ- ate publisher at Quercus before joining Bonnier to launch tech start-up Type & Tell in the UK.
