This year’s Business After Hours Spotlight on Restaurants will be held on January 9, 2018 at the Convention Center beginning at 5:00 pm. A fantastic way to start the year is to spotlight our member restaurants. Each restaurant who participates in the event will be pro- vided a booth and can introduce attendees to new menu items or old favorites by providing samples of their food. There is no cost for the booth space but we do ask you to bring enough food samples to serve 50-60 people.
The Ardmore Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for local businesses. The Chamber encourages everyone to shop and dine locally. Ardmore has a wide variety of dining options from national chains to iconic local restaurants. The benefits of spending dining dollars locally include: • Local spending generates
• A study in Austin, Texas found that $100 spent at a local business produced an additional $45 worth of local economic activity. It just makes sense to keep our business and money local.
•
lasting impact on the pros- perity of local organizations and residents.
Independent businesses em- ploy more people directly per dollar of revenue. They are also the cus- tomers of local printers, accountants, wholesalers, farms, attorneys, etc. • Small businesses donate more than twice as much per sales dollar to local non-profits, events, and teams compared to big businesses.
Chambers members are invited to attend this special Business After Hours.
There are many new ventures to come to Ardmore in 2018 so please stay invested and con- nected with our great city. Re- member: Shop Local, Dine Local.
If your restaurant would like to be a part of this Spotlight on Restau- rants event, call 580-223-7765 or email
jauten@ardmore.org by January 8th.
