SHOW PREVIEW | kbb Birmingham Grass Movement Systems Stand: V80


The Austrian/German producer of hinges, drawers, runners and other hardware elements will showcase V8 (pictured), an 8mm thick drawer. The brand adds that it is “extremely thin and its first 100% steel drawer” which is also recyclable. The Dynaneo new undermount runner range will also be on show, and will be available from June 2024. Finally, Grass will also have on display a new version of its Nova Pro, Novo Pro One and Novo Pro Scala – a double-walled drawer.


Häfele Stand: S72


Having marked its centenary in December last year, Häfele will celebrate 100 years of furniture fitting manufacturing at this year’s kbb show, and look ahead to what its next period of innovation will bring. It will also showcase many of its legacy products that have revolutionised the furniture fixings industry. This includes the Häfele Minifix connector system, of which 3.2 million units are still produced every


day. Häfele will also be demonstrating the latest innovations from its partners and sharing more about Service+, its revamped range of services designed to add value from concept through to installation and beyond. It will also be offering a series of on-demand 10-minute talks from its team of experts, covering topics from services to lighting and multifunctional living.


Haier Stand: W72, W80 and X90


According to the Chinese brand, design is the hallmark of the cooking area from Haier, where the new ID Series will be displayed. Connected ovens and hobs characterised by sophisticated styling and exclusive Bionicook technologies, will be the main highlight, it says. The use of advanced “bionic” intelligence is said to be just one of its innovative functions tailored to users’ needs. The Bionic Vision embedded camera recognises the food and automatically chooses the ideal preparation parameters during the entire cycle, by measuring the temperature thanks to Bionic Precision. All ID Series ovens also have an energy rating of A++.


Hanex Solid Surfaces Stand: R90


Hanex Solid Surfaces, manufactured by South Korean corporation Hyundai, promises a unique and innovative solution in the world of surfacing materials, with its USP being “the exceptional quality, versatility, and aesthetic appeal of our solid surface products”. On the Hanex stand, visitors can expect to see a number of solid surface options, with design features such as a Kaelo, backlighting, wireless surface charging and larger samples of its colour range. There will be giveaways and installations of Hanex Solid Surface showcasing its versatility – seamless joins, coved upstands and beautiful curves achieved by thermoforming.
