SHOW PREVIEW | kbb Birmingham Ca’ Pietra Stand: G50

The popular tile brand is launching several new collections at kbb Birmingham, including wood-effect slat tiles, and its new Victorian Style Collection where designs are rooted in the 19th century. This includes a Victorian-style flooring collection, which has lots to offer, the company says. It is pre-scored and ready to grout so is much easier to install, as well as being half the price of traditional Victorian flooring. Also on display will be Ca’ Pietra’s new hero collection – Minérale, the click-no-stick tile range. According to the brand, it expects the new offering to be a game-changer for the sector. From marble to wood, it claims to have everything covered.

‘We need strong Q & A

Q: How can suppliers best serve their retailers in these tough economic times? A: Suppliers need to dedicate resources and time to their customers. A one-size-fits-all approach to relationships just doesn’t work in 2024, as we need to understand the challenges, as well as strengths and opportunities, of each of our customers. This helps to build strong relationships and also provide the necessary tools and resources to help our customers sell to consumers. With the current state of the economy and cost-of-living

crisis, home renovation projects are very much a considered purchase and people are taking longer and more time to purchase and select the products that they want. That’s why it is so important to have those strong relationships with retailers and to serve them better. Alongside those relationships, a supplier’s responsibility to its retailers is to drive as much awareness of the brand which in turn, drives footfall into stores.

Caple Stand: L80

For Caple this year, the main focus will be on its Sense Premium products, the brand-new black glass finish across some of the appliance ranges, and the new Caple Plasma air cleaning solution – using extractor technology from PlasmaMade. Most kitchens use outdoor extraction or carbon filters to remove cooking odours. The PlasmaMade E-Filter is a revolutionary plasma filter with patented technology that offers a cost-effective and sustainable solution. There will also be a demo area where the southern and northern regional training managers, Jo Underway and Lauren Ward, will be talking through the many functions of Caple’s cooking products.

Carlisle Brass Stand: S84

The UK hardware brand is launching its HEX range at kbb Birmingham, a development it describes as “immensely exciting!”, and visitors to the stand can also pick up a brand-new cabinet hardware brochure. The brand will show a large range, featuring 56 different SKUs, including Lever on Rose, Turn & Release, Cabinet Knobs, T-Bar Knobs and Cabinet Pulls available in a variety of sizes. The company will also be showcasing a range of cabinet hardware from Carlisle Brass and Alexander & Wilks. Carlisle Brass prides itself on its quality, offering products in solid brass in a range of finishes – with all this “affordable luxury” available in some instances for next-day delivery.
