ince first appearing in kbbreview’s Adopted Retailer series, Artis Bathrooms has continued its


steady upward trajectory. The


Cotswolds retailer may still be less than two years old, but after winning the New Bathroom Retailer category at the kbbreview


Retail & Design Awards 2026, the focus has shifted from establishing the business to refining it. For director Tim Haddock and showroom manager Lizzie Mason, the past


year has been less about launching the business and more about putting the foundations in place for sustainable growth. One of the biggest changes has been Haddock stepping away from the


installation side of the business. Having built his career as a bathroom installer, it wasn’t an easy transition, but one he quickly realised was necessary. “I quickly realised I can’t oversee the business with me being on the tools,” he


says. “I’d like to be on the tools for eight hours of the day, and so I started thinking that it wasn’t working.” Instead, Haddock’s focus has shifted towards developing the business,


strengthening supplier relationships and improving operational efficiency, while Mason continues to lead the showroom and design side of the business. For Mason, it’s simply the next stage in the company’s evolution. “It’s that shift from
