Arma Interiors’ showroom in Cobham demonstrates how a partnership with Poggenpohl can help designers create a truly memorable client experience

or independent retailers operating at the premium end of the market, choosing the right kitchen partner is about far more than product alone. Shared values, design excellence and attention to detail all play a vital role in creating spaces that inspire clients from the moment they walk through the door. That’s exactly what attracted Arma, the founder of Arma Interiors, to Poggenpohl. Having established a successful interior design business in London working on high-end residential projects, Arma opened her showroom in Cobham to give prospective clients an opportunity to experience her distinct design approach in person. “Many of our projects are confidential, so we can’t showcase them publicly,” she explains. “We wanted to create a home for our interiors and give customers an exceptional experience.” At the centre of that experience sits a Poggenpohl kitchen. “The heart of every project is the kitchen,” says Arma. “Whenever I think about kitchens, the only name I always remember is Poggenpohl.”
Approaching Poggenpohl The partnership began when Arma approached the manufacturer with her
vision for the new showroom. Working closely together, the display was refined to reflect both Poggenpohl’s design expertise and Arma’s own meticulous eye for detail. “They designed the display beautifully, but they also listened to my ideas about the materials and worktop,” she says. “The combination of my taste and Poggenpohl’s design has created an outstanding piece in the centre of our showroom.” That collaborative approach is one of the qualities Arma values
most, alongside what she describes as the brand’s defining strengths: “Quality, craftsmanship and trust. Those are the same values we’re building our business on, so it felt like the perfect fit.” For Arma, it’s the finer details that elevate Poggenpohl above the
competition. “I’m a very detailed person, and I think we’re on the same page,” she says. “From the hardware and trims to the lighting and materials, they pay
attention to every detail. It’s very rare to find display furniture with this level of quality, including the metal framing and tinted glass.” Rather than presenting the kitchen as a standalone display, Arma positioned it at the heart of the showroom as part of a complete interior scheme, helping clients visualise how it could work within their own homes. “I think our Poggenpohl kitchen stands out because it’s part of a home,” she says. “People
can experience it as a real living space. It’s not just a showcase.” For retailers looking to strengthen their premium offering, Arma’s experience highlights
the value of working with a partner whose commitment to craftsmanship, collaboration and design excellence mirrors their own.
