Loft Dynamics designs, manufactures, and operates the only VR helicopter simulators approved by major regulatory agencies (including EASA and the FAA). The simulators provide unparalleled realism with a specialized pose tracking system, dynamic motion platform, and 3D high-resolution panoramic view. They also are much less expensive and 10 times smaller than traditional full-motion simulators.
A recent EASA ruling enables all training and checking to be done on a Loft Dynamics simulator. This significantly reduces costs for operators while increasing the safety, accessibility, and effectiveness of helicopter training across Europe. Loft Dynamics simulators allow pilots to train HESLO operations, emergency maneuvers, and many other procedures in fully customizable scenarios and environments. The simulators are trusted by leading operators and manufacturers globally, such as Air Zermatt, Los Angeles Police Department, and Airbus Helicopters.
Loft Dynamics is building the future of flight training by drastically improving safety and accessibility for pilots and operators worldwide.
AEM’s MTP136D is a modern panel-mount radio for special- role and multi-mission platforms. Designed with the U.S. Forest Service and aerial firefighting operators in mind, the MTP136D is a Project 25 Phase 1 compliant VHF FM solution for digital and analog communication on all channels across the 136MHz to 174MHz frequency band.
The radio features a large NVIS-compatible screen displaying all channel and operational information. It was developed in consultation with tactical aerial firefighting agencies. It boasts a robust design to ensure high performance in demanding firefighting environments. The MTP136D is easily integrated for tactical systems and upgrades, and is a plug-and-play replacement for existing legacy radios.
“The radio is so intuitive for both flight and maintenance crews alike. It is revolutionary, to be honest.” - Ian Turner, Fleet Manager, West Coast Helicopters
