Designed for utility operators of the AS350 B3 (H125), DCS1100 records usage data from the ARINC data buss and transmits the data via Bluetooth in real-time to the FLI Repeater App (Patent US 10,780,995 B1). It’s approved by the FAA, EASA, and TCCA STC.
The FLI Repeater App, which is used as a reference tool by the pilot during vertical reference operations, precisely replicates the VEMD FLI and Triple Tach display and can change between displays with the touch of a button. The app has touch-zoom for each instrument, providing a greatly expanded view of the upper arc limit area. The external load weight is also displayed, and a load pushbutton interface controlled by the pilot increments a load counter.
Founder Jonathan Gunn notes that by keeping the FLI Repeater App and external load in the same field of view, it reduces pilot fatigue and the potential for exceeding limits.
