infiniDome Wins First Place AUVSI Xcellence Award
infiniDome was recently named the first place winner in the “Technology” category of the Xcellence Awards by the Association for Uncrewed Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI). infiniDome was selected from a pool of accomplished applicants for its exceptional work in uncrewed systems technology. The winners were publicly congratulated during the Xcellence awards ceremony during AUVSI Xponential this past May. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the event, co-hosted by Messe Düsseldorf North America.
infiniDome specializes in developing GPS protection and resilient navigation solutions tailored to defend UAVs and vehicles from jamming attacks. InfiniDome’s GPSdome2 protects GNSS
systems from jamming, which is becoming a growing concern for unmanned and manned critical applications. GPSdome2 can be used with a variety of platforms including manned ground vehicles, and unmanned vehicles such as UAV, UGV, and USV, and can be integrated or retrofitted on almost any GNSS- dependent platform. The main disruption GPSdome2 brings to the market is its incredible C-SWaP offering (optimized for Cost, Size Weight and Power) by implementing proprietary null- steering algorithms using infiniDome’s own chip technology. At less than 10x10x5.5 centimeters and weighing less than 500 grams, GPSdome2 protects two GNSS frequencies (L1+L2 or L1+G1) from up to three directions of attack simultaneously, ensuring accurate and continuous positioning and navigation data, even in heavily challenged GNSS environments.
“This year, Xponential is all about designing a shared plan for the future of autonomy,” said Keely Griffith, vice president of Strategic Programs at AUVSI. “There’s no better place to announce the 2023 Xcellence award finalists. Together, they are redefining what’s possible with uncrewed and robotic technology.”
The AUVSI Xcellence Awards honor innovators with a demonstrated commitment to advancing autonomy, leading and promoting safe adoption of uncrewed systems and developing programs that use these technologies to save lives and improve the human condition.
Join APSA this summer in Orlando for the premier public safety aviation training and networking event of the year! Whether you mange, fly or fix helicopters, fixed-wing or UAS for law enforcement, SAR, EMS, firefighting and/or natural resources missions, APSCON/ APSCON Unmanned is the place to be this July. We bring practitioners and subject matter experts together to share best practices, tactics, techniques, mission training, safety management, human factors and so much more with over 50 courses, classes and training sessions offered. Outside of the
classroom, the education and networking continues in the exhibit hall where you will experience the latest in public safety aviation aircraft, products and services while inter- acting with extremely knowledgeable exhibitor reps. And take time to recognize excellence in our profession and get inspired to be your best at our annual Awards Reception. Invest in yourself!
