Kit for Bell
206A/B/L/L1/L3/L4 model aircraft. Transport Canada approval has been previously received. The new DAS Screwin Windshield
Modification Kit allows the operator to replace the existing OEM windshield retainers with quick change out retain ers. With the OEM system, the retain ers are riveted in place and so are diffi cult and time consuming to remove during windshield replacement. OEM retainers are often damaged during windshield replacement and must be replaced, resulting in additional costs. The DAS kit provides durable retainers that are screwed in place and can be easily removed to allow for quick wind shield replacement or removal. Helicopter Pilots at Bristow LLC Ratify Agreement
Oil service industry helicopter pilots
in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska, mem bers of the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 107 employed by Bristow LLC, have voted to ratify a threeyear agree ment covering 235 pilots. The agreement comes after 18
months of negotiations and was rati fied by 84.3 percent of the voting mem bers. The secret ballot ratification vote was conducted by Survey and Ballot Systems. The agreement is expected to be signed soon, and will be retroactive to March 26, 2012. The new agreement provides for 4
percent wage increases each year of the contract, a total of 12 percent over the life of the agreement. Substantial improvements were also made to con tract language, making it much easier to understand and interpret, “which we believe will result in fewer grievances in the future,” said Local 107 President Pete Catalano.
