Together we can help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives. Together we can protect children at risk. And, together, we can find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.
We change the law. We visit schools across the country, helping children understand what abuse is. And, through our Childline service, we give young people a voice when no one else will listen.
But all this is only possible with your support. Every pound raised, every petition you sign, every minute of your time, will help make sure we can fight for every childhood.

You’ve got the power to turn everyday moments into brain-building ones
Look, Say, Sing, Play from the NSPCC is here to help By Kristina Stephens, Campaign Manager
Did you know that every time you talk, sing or play with your little one, you build your child’s brain in ways that help their future learning, health and social skills?
Whether it’s playtime or lesson time, using silly voices or even singing can build a child’s brain. Plus, it’s a great way to make your bond even stronger.
Brain-building happens when you and your little learners interact with each other. It’s about taking a cue from them and reacting to what they’re doing. You could think of it like a game of tennis – going back and forth between the two of you.
These shared back-and-forth moments with children nurture their growing minds, helping them to build key skills (like focus, self-control and problem- solving) which will support them in childhood and later life.
You’re probably already doing this, but the NSPCC have put together some tips and advice to help you bring even more Look, Say, Sing, Play into your daily routine with your little learners.
