"This activity was super engaging! Draw or stick some clouds onto a piece of cardboard, poke holes underneath, and attach pipe cleaners through the cardboard. Then, paint pasta shells blue and ask children to thread them onto the pipe cleaners.


The activity was excellent fine motor skills practice and resulted in a fun conversation about precipitation.”

"We are really enjoying different colours at the moment and categorising groups of objects.


For this activity, I used contact paper (sticky- back plastic) and ribbon to create shapes and then cut up some pieces of cellophane. Ask children to stick the cut-out pieces to the shapes on the window for a fun colour- matching activity!"

"To do this simple but effective activity, I made dinosaur feet out of cardboard and polystyrene and glued them together and then I used a hot glue gun to attach socks to the feet. The activity got super messy, super quickly, but I loved how it turned into a colour-mixing activity, and it was lots of fun!"
