Method… 1
2 3
Fill up all the eggs with a mix of different noisy objects and seal with tape. Make sure you do two eggs for each different sound.
Encourage children to shake the eggs and find the matching ones.
You can also ask them to describe the sounds they hear and to try and guess the contents of the eggs.
You’ll need…
• Small plastic containers – we used plastic eggs
• Small noisy objects such as rice, marbles, pasta shapes, buttons and coins
• Tape

EXPLORING THEIR FIVE SENSES
Providing your little learners with the opportunity to explore their five senses of sound, sight, smell, taste and touch will allow them to learn more about themselves, whilst increasing their understanding of the world around them. We’ve put together some simple exploration activities, each focusing on one of the five senses.
