EXPRESSING EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS Reviewed by YOU
Understanding how to interpret and express emotions is a vital skill for children to learn from an early age. It helps them to discover who they are, ensures they feel safe, and teaches them how to listen and respond to others.
We were delighted to work with two nurseries who put some of our favourite resources to support this area of learning to the test, here’s how they got on.
Hopscotch Tuel Lane, Sowerby Bridge
What activities did you use the products for?
The puppets were used at circle time, story time, and free play.
Did the children enjoy using the products? The children enjoyed playing with them,
however the squeaky bit did not always make a noise and was hard for the younger children to press to get a sound.
They enjoyed using the puppets and we found the older children favoured them over the 2 - 3 year olds.
Would you recommend the products to other
nurseries? Yes, we would recommend them for age 2 up to 9 years.
Two of the older children have wrote a
review I think they are perfect, but sometimes they lose their voices! They are funny and cute, also NOISEY. Child age 9
I think the spike puppets are very nice and funny and joyful because they bring joy to the children and laughter. They do not need to be improved. Child age 10
