What activities did you use the product

for? The fairy house itself is robust and held up well to the exploration of the children and the multiple uses they came up for it; transporting, catching the figures and a car ramp to name a few. We also used the house with small world animals and other characters.

Did the children enjoy using the product? The Fairy figures were of interest to all children

and were good at encouraging co-operative and along-side play with different aged children. The characters were sturdy even with their delicate appearance. The children used the characters in imaginary play both with the house and with other toys already in the setting.

The gold sand that came with the set is exceptionally good and staff and children liked it as a sensory experience. It was used with the small world play but also and more

predominantly for mark making, sensory play and exploration with other materials. Of the three items the sand was the most popular and used.

Would you recommend the product to other

nurseries? If we were looking to purchase small world items I would happily buy these products and recommend them to others for their durability. The house is very versatile and a set with different structures would be good. The sand is fantastic and I would love to purchase some for sensory play now, especially if different colours were also available.

How would you rate the product out of 10? As a set, 8 out of 10, for the sand alone as a

sensory product 10 out of 10.
