This edition is themed around health and wellbeing. An area becoming increasingly important in schools, we thought it would be really useful, to provide delicious content for you on this topic. Look out for articles from primary curriculum specialists including Chris Quigley, Mike Gershon and Dr Mark Biddiss.

We’ve also regular features for you to enjoy. This edition, our ‘Diary of a head teacher’ is by Lysa Upham from East Bierley CE (VC) Primary School, who gives an insight into how they focus on health and wellbeing in her school.

Do you feel like your task list is never ending and you simply don’t have enough time? If the answer is yes, then you should have a read of our ‘Time management tips’ feature on pages 16-17. And the great news is that it’s only part one, look out for more tips in editions two and three!

Don’t miss our fantastic competition to win a health and wellbeing toolkit worth over £300! See the back page for details.

We hope you enjoy the magazine! Don’t forget it’s Children’s Mental Health Week on 5-11 February Our next edition will be out in April.
