The theme of this edition is learning outdoors and supporting mental health. Two areas which continue to be very important and so to help we’ve provided you with a whole host of ideas, insight and activities relating to them, that you can hopefully utilise in your school.


Our friends at Council for Learning Outside the Classroom provide ’10 ideas to take learning beyond the classroom walls on a limited budget’ on pages 6–7.


Not always sure how to take traditional subjects like numeracy and literacy outside? Take a look at pages 10–13, with fantastic ideas and inspiration from both Cosy and Yellow Door.
