Extending your classroom outdoors
Extra space for outdoor learning
Extend your indoor learning into an exciting outdoor classroom to accommodate your bubble of children. Consider including resources that will encourage them to use language to express their thoughts, needs and ideas, by interacting with their peers and adults from a safe distance.
Keeping fit and physical #Cosycheer What’s more flexible than creating your own obstacle course?
More than ever before, children need physical activity and should take risks in their play. Encourage fine motor coordination and pre–writing skills by using easy to clean resources. Our large blocks encourage children to use their gross motor skills while they are playing in their small bubble of friends.
Climbing, swinging, running, jumping and having fun outdoors can all be undertaken solo, in bubbles or larger groups. We all know that exercise benefits physical and mental wellbeing. To keep children motivated and to ensure they are staying active, why not encourage daily workout challenges?
Self–supporting hygiene
We want to keep you positive and add a little light into every day. Follow us on FB, Insta and Twitter – for some everyday motivation, ideas, peer to peer support and chat, and just some light relief in those trickier moments.
Your own outdoor sink – no need to keep nipping inside
With plenty of washing stations, children will get used to washing thoroughly and independently. Provide plenty of water play experiences with soapy and bubbly water.
