Set on land that is being redeveloped to
expand Springfield Hospital, Brendoncare’s Ronald Gibson House is to be redeveloped. Given Brendoncare’s strategic plan to move out of the London to focus its services closer to its head office in Winchester, the decision was made to transfer all Ronald Gibson House staff and residents to a new care home, The Meadowcroft, set to be delivered this autumn by not-for-profit Greensleeves Care. The new home will allow the team to continue to provide the same high standard of care in a modern and state-of-the-art home. “Ensuring a smooth transition is our priority. We are delighted to be working together with like-minded care charity Greensleeves Care to support residents, relatives & colleagues as they move to The Meadowcroft.” Greensleeves Care chief executive Paul Newman added: “We are looking forward to welcoming colleagues and residents from Ronald Gibson House to our Greensleeves Care family.
