Innovation

Hallmark and Savista will be implementing the three solutions, which include a suite of low-carbon alternatives to change practice and products used at our current and future homes and construction sites
On the road again To encourage further innovation, a roadshow has visited every home in the Hallmark Care Homes group to gather opinions from residents, families and teams to help us understand what is working well, what we could do better and where there are opportunities for the future. The roadshow was also an excellent opportunity to update the homes on new products and processes adopted over the past year and exciting new ideas coming soon. We also used the sessions to gather
some surveys while at the homes from the different departments and run brainstorm sessions with the aim of engaging and inspiring the team to be a part of new opportunities and developments. The roadshow sought to be fun and informative and we have coordinated the feedback from each home visit which will be considered for our future care homes and innovation programmes. The roadshow has also helped us headhunt suitable recruits for this year’s instalment of the Care Accelerator.
Conclusion
In all, the Care Accelerator programme has been a success. We were given the amazing

platform to talk about the benefits at The Care Show in October and it has been recognised for its innovative approach by being shortlisted for the 2021 Laing Buisson Awards in the Innovation in Care category. It also has been amazing to see our 17 inspirational team members together in this unique learning environment as it has enabled their talent and potential for personal and organisational growth to truly flourish.
We look forward to seeing what the future holds as Hallmark continues to challenge boundaries and its team members continue to seek new ways to better the service they deliver. All of the challenges Hallmark is facing, the care sector is also facing so it is important that we utiliseour amazing teams to continue sharing their recommendations and collaborate as this all helps to shape the future of social care. We hope you enjoyed reading about our Care Accelerator programme. In the spirit of innovation and collaboration, we have an open-door policy at Hallmark and Savista and welcome your comments.
