provides delegates with quickfire education. It’s a great way to kick off the conference experience and get the most out of the event. During these fast-paced 15-minute sessions,
exhibitors will provide bite-sized education on a range of topics. These sessions are designed to provide delegates with a quick introduction to the latest trends and technological advancements, helping them to stay up-to-date. Following their overwhelming popularity last
year, AfPP has added additional Surgical Skills Workshops to the programme. Led by expert mentors and educators, the workshops will cover a range of surgical techniques, from knot tying and suturing, through to laparoscopic skills.
With a focus on practical, hands-on learning, the workshops will provide delegates with a unique opportunity to enhance their surgical skills in a safe and controlled environment. Sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday to ensure as many delegates can benefit from these as possible. Details on how to register for these workshops will be provided at delegate registration in York. Not only will delegates benefit from a full
programme of education, but there is also the opportunity to network with fellow perioperative practitioners throughout the conference. Delegates will have the chance to unwind and network with peers during evening meals and entertainment, providing an excellent opportunity to make new connections, share experiences and catch up with old friends. On the final evening, delegates can let their
hair down at the Gala Dinner. The evening will include a delicious three-course meal, along with entertainment, music and dancing, providing the perfect backdrop for delegates to relax and celebrate their profession with like- minded peers and friends. Throughout the conference, there will be ample opportunity for delegates to explore
the exhibition hall. There will be plenty to get involved in, with the latest innovations, products, ideas and technology on display. The exhibition hall is a fantastic area to communicate with suppliers, network and watch live product demonstrations. Delegates can expect to speak with medical device companies, review consumable product samples and discover the latest in surgical technology. With over 40 industry exhibitors, there will be a wealth of knowledge and expertise on offer, along with the ability to ask follow-up questions of those suppliers who provided the Speed Education. Whether delegates want a fully immersive
conference experience, or a day package, there are a range of options available to suit all budgets. Full package details can be found on the conference website. For those who are not looking to stay
overnight, day tickets are available. These allow delegates access to all the educational sessions and workshops, while networking with colleagues and exhibitors throughout the day.
