Upcoming events The Institute’s annual programme of conferences is set to begin soon, featuring three events across April and May. Attendance provides a unique forum for professionals to share expertise and insights, whilst gaining CPD credits to support continued professional development.
• The Innovation in Healthcare Conference and Exhibition, hosted by the East Midlands Regional
Branch, will take place on 8th April 2026 at Uttoxeter Racecourse, and will bring together healthcare professionals, technology providers, and service suppliers in a forward-looking and collaborative setting. The event offers a valuable platform for learning, networking, and exploring innovative solutions that support the continuous improvement of healthcare environments. Attendance is free of charge.

• The IHEEM Wales Regional Conference, Exhibition and Gala Awards Dinner will take place on the
6th and 7th May at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Newport. The theme for this year is ‘Navigating Uncertainty – Contingency and Resilience in Healthcare Estates’, and the event focuses on strengthening healthcare estates to meet evolving challenges through improved planning, innovation, and workforce development.
The Gala Dinner Awards will take place in the Augusta Suite, part of the Celtic Manor Golf Club, and will celebrate the exceptional contributions of Welsh peers from the healthcare sector. The after-dinner speaker will be Jonathan Davies (Jiffy) OBE, the celebrated former Welsh rugby player and respected sports broadcaster. Nominations for the Gala Dinner Awards are now open. • The biennial IHEEM Northern Ireland Conference, Exhibition and Awards Dinner returns to Belfast on
19th and 20th May, bringing together healthcare engineers, estates professionals, and industry partners to explore the latest developments in healthcare infrastructure. Featuring expert-led sessions, seminars, and a comprehensive exhibition, the event focuses on innovation, sustainability, compliance and best practice across the healthcare estates sector. The conference and exhibition will be held at St. George’s Market, with the Gala Dinner taking place at the Europa Hotel.
