Procedure: Dissolve Glycerin in distilled water (Phase A). Heat to approximately 60°C while stirring gently. In a separate container, mix all surfactants (Phase B). Heat to 60°C until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Slowly incorporate into Phase A under constant stirring. Once Phase A+B cools to below 40°C, add SCH ShellCare® TRAX (Phase C) and stir until fully dissolved. Add Xanthan Gum slowly to the solution while stirring to avoid clumps. Follow with the addition of the preservative and Tocopheryl Acetate. Continue mixing until fully homogenized. Check pH and adjust to 5,0 – 5,5 if needed. Cool to room temperature and pack. Properties: Appearance: Transparent gel cleanser. pH (25°C): 5 – 5,5 Viscosity (25°C): 2000 – 4000 cP (sp 3, 20 rpm)
