Gaming Corps Grants Player Agency Online Casino Gaming Corps
Swedish development studio Gaming Corps creates core mechanics people know and enjoy but lets them tailor the experience, so it feels uniquely theirs.
Everything we do is new, fresh and innovative, whether it’s the groundbreaking Smash4Cash or A-MAZE-CADES or X-MY-WAY mechanics, which form the basis of our dazzling games. Back in 2024, we decided to create a type of game that hadn’t been seen before in the online casino space, called Smash4Cash.
We paired this mechanic with a nostalgic theme that players are familiar with, which became Piggy Smash. It was clear players would instantly recognise piggy banks as something you needed to smash for cash prizes, so we decided to use them for the game’s central theme.
Tat’s the beauty of Gaming Corps – we are players ourselves and we know what makes a game work. Our A-MAZE-CADES is another huge innovation of ours, which provides a brand-new twist on the standard cascading mechanic. Te grid, set up in a 5×5 format, has the shape of a snaking maze with an entrance top right and an exit bottom left.
With each winning combination, every symbol that’s part of the win is removed from the grid, and then the symbols will move and “cascade” from right to left through the maze towards the exit. It’s an entirely unique setup and one that’s never been done before.
But wait - there’s more. Our innovation just keeps on coming, thanks to X-MY-WAY, a mechanic that allows players to take their own path to the maximum multiplier on offer. It leans heavily on the concept of agency by allowing players to fully control the volatility of each individual decision in a game round, while retaining the option to cash out at any point.
Do players want to take the low volatility route or the high volatility route? Or do they want to move between strategies on the fly and optimise their risk vs reward? Tat’s all for the player to decide for themselves. X-MY-WAY and Smash4Cash are just two of our seven product verticals, which also include Slots, Table, Mines, Crash and Plinko.
Finally, we have a new product coming out soon called Marbles Royale. We can’t say too much about it yet, but it will definitely take our innovation levels up to even greater heights.
