unique rotor design, and intelligent drive systems, says CMG. These provide high energy efficiency and low total cost of ownership.
K show launchpad At the K2025 exhibition in Germany, CMG launched the EV 92-220 granulator designed for heavy-duty applications and large volume streams. It features a new cutting chamber architecture and advanced control integration, for enhanced reliability under high loads. In addition, the company launched the G55
means actively contributing to this transformation by supporting customers with technology, exper- tise and a local structure capable of turning operational proximity into tangible value.” He said CMG India’s industrial approach is based on innovation, regrind quality, energy efficiency and the development of tailor-made solutions for every process. “We are convinced that the future of recycling depends on strong partner- ships, technical continuity and an increasingly integrated presence aligned with our customers’ needs, together with the use of reliable and efficient technologies that support stable, high- quality processes,” he said. The new facility in Pune will manufacture size
reduction equipment based on CMG’s original design, maintaining the group’s technological, quality and performance standards. Local manufac- turing will enable faster delivery times, greater competitiveness and an even closer presence to meet the needs of the market, says CMG. Acting as a centre of expertise for plant engineering, technical support and business development, the facility’s specialised team, trained directly in CMG technology, will serve as a point of reference for processors, recyclers and plant builders, providing support throughout the entire project lifecycle. granulator line for high-capacity applications. The standard configurations of the new series cover capacities from 700 kg/h to 1,300 kg/h. The G55 line comprises two models: G55-90 and G55-120. These include integral sound enclosure and an innovative feed hopper design that accommodates a variety of shapes and dimensions of parts that can be granulated. Energy utilisation is 25 Wh/kg – around half that of conventional solutions, it says. CMG also introduced evacuation, dedusting and powder containment systems. These Regrind Evac Systems start at a capacity of 200 kg/h and, in ten different sizes, reach a capacity of 7,000 kg/h. The systems operate under full vacuum, so
regrind material is evacuated from the granulator and gently conveyed to a cyclone receiver and through a dedusting chamber – all under negative pressure. The regrind is deposited in a storage bin, gaylord or big-bag while the powdery air is handled by a self-cleaning filter unit. In 2025, CMG expanded its Italian production
headquarters with a new 800 sq m area, dedicated to logistics, enabling more efficient management of internal flows and freeing up production areas to meet increasing demand. CMG says the investment will allow it to improve organisation, production capacity and delivery times. Alongside the production area, the CMG HQ also hosts a new 1,000 sq m technical centre, dedicated to granulation tests and technical support. It features a test area equipped with granulators and shredders of various sizes and capacities that can process a range of materials – as well as a training area.
Customers can see CMG machines in operation,
directly evaluate processing and reuse methods for their own materials and verify the quality of results firsthand. If customers cannot attend tests in person, CMG can carry out granulation trials anyway. The material is delivered to the company, where it undergoes testing. At the end of the process, the material is returned to the customer, together with a technical report.
