Free registration now open for AMI’s European plastics expos
Free online registration has opened for the AMI Plastics World Expos, which are being held at the Brussels Expo in Belgium on 11-12 September 2024. Taking place for the fourth time in Europe, the event is organised by Injection World publisher AMI and brings together three focused exhibitions: the Compound- ing World Expo, Plastics Recycling World Expo, and Plastics Extrusion World Expo. Covestro’s business perfor- mance in fiscal year 2023 was significantly affected by what it says was “once again a challenging economic environment”. Weak global demand led to group sales of €14.4bn, a decline of 20% compared to 2022, while sales in the Perfor- mance Materials segment fell by 24.4% to €6.9bn over the same period. “2023 was one of the
