Polifilm, founded in 1972, is a manufacturer of extrusion and protection films – which are made and sold by 11 production facilities, 13 sales offices and more than 20 distribution partners worldwide. Its products are made from polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).
Product lines:
The company produces films for a number of end markets, including construction, processing, agriculture and logistics. Its extruded products include hand-, machine- and pre-stretch film, and films for labels and packaging. It also offers films to protect valuable surfaces – on substrates such as metal, plasics and glass – from damage during production, processing and assembly. Other protective films are for the automotive sector (such as to protect exteriors) and for logistics (such as stretch hoods and cover sheets).
Factory locations:
The company has 11 different production facilities, in countries including Germany, South Africa, Vietnam, Israel, Mexico, the US, China, France and Italy. It says it has 120,000 tonnes/year production capacity, of which around 50,000 tonnes/year is for laminating films.Polifilm recently set up a subsidiary in Romania, which will also supply countries such as Hungary and Slovakia.
