Pipe makers head to Berlin for fittings and joints conference
Leading pipe producers will converge on Berlin next month for the Plastic Pipe Fittings & Joints 2018 conference, which takes place on 24-25 October at the Sofitel Kurfürstendamm hotel.
Several European players
are already signed up to attend the event, such as Wavin, Polypipe Terrain, GF Piping Systems and Streng Plastic. Those attending from
further afield include Polyplastic from Russia, Binh Minh Plastics from Vietnam, and Huliot from Israel There are also attendees
from leading suppliers of seals, fittings, insulation and joining technologies, such as Friatec, Reinert-Ritz, Hultec, Trelleborg, McElroy, Ritmo and GWK Kuhlmann, as well as experts from research and testing bodies such as GRTgaz, Kiwa
integrity and long-term performance of plastic piping systems. There will also be sessions on specific technologies, such as joints and fittings for PVC-O pipes and the testing of electrofu- sion joints.
