Ways the US layer industry deals without antibiotics

s the connotation of using antibiotics in livestock production becomes more and more negative for consumers, the poultry industry has to act. Surely, producing under the ‘no antibiotics ever’ label


makes a good business case but we can’t let diseased birds succumb. So, how can the US layer industry deal without the availability of antibiotics? By keeping birds healthy in the first place, by incorporating the important factors set out below.
