Profile Dr Fernanda Almeida is


current IPVS president and associate professor at the Federal University of Minas


Gerais. She did her PhD at the University of Alberta, Canada, working on the physiology of reproduction in sows. After that, she started working at the Federal University of


Minas Gerais, doing research in that area and teach-


ing to both graduate and undergraduate students.
