from an alleged hijack attempt of a school bus by triggering a silent alarm, and another driver rescued children in the “Camp Fire” that burned down Paradise, California. Meanwhile, school bus contractor Suffolk Transportation was ranked No. 3 in top workplaces in Long Island, New York, for the leadership and culture at that organization. Tragically, however, a distract mechanic was killed by a runaway school bus, while two children and one adult died within one week, while riding either a school bus or a charter bus.
