Chuck Joseph The Good Life

C

huck Joseph’s life is a triumph over adversity. His artwork has not only served as a wonderful escape for him personally but has evolved into a growing career. Fascinated

with galleries from an early age and what it would take to contribute to them he persisted until the dream became a reality. “I always felt like I could do it,” he said presciently. Being a non-classically trained artist posed some struggles, but not nearly enough to keep him down. Rather, they energized him. “Not being admitted into the galleries just drove me harder,” Joseph said. “I would eat, dream, and sleep art.”

Chuck’s approach is both conventional and radical. Often taking photos, pixelating them and then painting over them with palette knives with a great fervor in a way that could bring peace to the troubled spirit of Caravaggio.

According to Joseph, some elder artists at certain galleries have considered his techniques “out of whack.” But, as with all originality, that energy has fueled him to delve further and explore more deeply his intentions and style. Joseph’s new works for “The Good Life” are a fabulous celebration of both art and fashion. Be sure to reserve your first class ticket this season!
