The Trust has been in existence since 2015 and provides benefits and insurance to employees, partners and dependants. Chair Brenda Abrams addressed the big- gest challenges facing the trust including the fact that the current funding structure and rising health costs mean the funding will not be able to support the plan as it is currently mandated moving forward. A survey will be distributed to plan mem- bers in early September asking what they want from their benefit plan. A members’ meeting has been tentatively scheduled for September 25. It will have both in- person and online components.
