On the opening day of Annual Meeting, ETFO held a media conference and press briefing based on the report Shortchanging Ontario’s Students: An Overview and Assessment of Edu- cation Funding in Ontario prepared by ETFO and economist Hugh Mackenzie & Associates. ETFO tabled seven recommendations to fix


Ontario’s education funding formula includ- ing increased special education funding and amendments to address class size in Grades 4-8 and kindergarten as well as the differential in per pupil spending in elementary and high schools. Read the full report at etfo.ca.
