“This is a complete supply chain conference.”
ACW 06 APRIL 2026
ogiPharma is shaking up its 2026 edition with a fresh location, a reimagined agenda, and a bold focus on interactivity, innovation, and resilience in the life sciences supply chain. The conference, running 14–16 April in Vienna, will bring together 2,500 global leaders to tackle some of the sector’s most pressing challenges, from AI and talent development to geopolitical risk and operational resilience.
Fresh venue, dual focus For Ben Sharples, LogiPharma Event Director, keeping the event fresh and engaging is a central priority, as the event heads to a new home in Austria after three years in France. “The simplest explanation is just to keep things fresh, you know, just to
have something new for the delegates,” he stated. “And that’s always the baseline: is this a city that will excite people?” The conference is introducing two interconnected experiences for
the first time: LogiPharma Supply Chain and LogiPharma Logistics, and attendees can expect a seamless on-site experience, with the agenda and exhibition hall organised around the two strands, helping large corporate teams navigate content effectively. The change reflects the evolution of the event itself. “These days it’s more or less a 50/50 split between supply chain and
logistics, but we haven’t always communicated that,” Sharples said. “We’re making a big effort to show it’s an end-to-end supply chain event. Logistics still makes up the lion’s share of content, but it’s now clear that this is a complete supply chain conference.”

Resilience, AI, and interactive learning At the heart of this year’s agenda are three headline themes: Intelligent Futures, Resilient Networks, and Global Health Impact. “The two major themes I hear from everyone are resilience and AI. The world is changing rapidly—in just the last five years we’ve seen Covid-19, the Ukraine war, and the US tariffs, to name a few—and supply chains need to be resilient. The question we explore is: how do you build supply chain resilience in an unstable world, and how can AI support that?” Sharples explained. Interactivity will be central, with audience-led panels and small-group
roundtables. “Delegates want to get involved. We’ve increased the number of interactive roundtables, where small groups can have real conversations and share candid remarks you just don’t get on a large stage,” he added. The LogiPharma Academy will address evolving talent needs, reflecting how
the skills we look for in supply chain roles are changing. “Sessions focus on career development, technology, and practical AI applications, like ChatGPT in practice. They’re designed to give people the building blocks to progress in a changing industry,” Sharples outlined. Geopolitical risk and cybersecurity will also feature prominently, with Tony
Brenton, former British ambassador to Russia, giving first-hand insight into Putin and global implications. There are panels on geopolitics and tariffs. For those undecided about attending, Sharples offered a clear message:
“Supply chains are under enormous pressure right now. This conference is where the manifesto for pharmaceutical supply chains gets set. If you’re not there, you’re missing out on where the industry is heading at a time of unprecedented uncertainty.”
