MAY 2026 THE RIDER /31 Gerald Wismer Memorial Open Barn Held April 12, 2026

By Ken McLellan Wismer Clydes of Amherstburg,

Ontario held their Gerald Wismer Me- morial Open Barn on Sunday afternoon, April 12, 2026. Donations were ac- cepted for The Harrow Community Pantry. The weather cooperated with a 73F (23C) and no rain. A large crowd attended with the parking near the barns full and cars along the side of the High- way. Wismer Clydesdales welcomed the community for their open barn event in memory of the late Gerald Wismer. They chose to collect donations for Project HOPE’s Harrow Community Pantry! It was a beautiful afternoon with

an excellent turnout of folks enjoying the sunshine and of course, the magnif- icent Clydesdales. Sincere thanks go to Ron, Marisa,

their family, and all who made today happen. Donations totalled $2586

plus many food goods in addi- tion. Thank you to all who contributed.
