In all environments, a good protection and maintenance regime is essential in order to retain a tile’s aesthetic and performance. Outdoors, this can be a particular challenge, especially with increasingly wet weather and the advent of heavily textured engineered tiles. Mapei UltraCare provides a solution, from installation to the protection and maintenance of all types of external surfaces in domestic and commercial settings. Many treatments now form part of Mapei’s Zero Line – with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle – and feature water-based formulations, for a safe and environmentally-friendly application.
MAINTENANCE MADE EASY WITH ULTRACARE
For everyday maintenance, UltraCare Multicleaner Zero is a versatile and highly concentrated pH-neutral solution. Use diluted 1:200 it is perfect for routine cleaning on external surfaces. It can also be used diluted 1:30 to tackle heavier organic dirt. The solution is formulated for all types of engineered and natural stone surfaces, including external porcelain, and is also available in a pump spray bottle for indoor tile care.
TACKLING RESIDUES, STAINS & DEPOSITS
Slippery algae and organic matter, greasy deposits, fixing residues and rust can be difficult to remove from tiles and stone, especially from acid-sensitive natural stone. The UltraCare range includes six products to tackle these issues, restoring appearance and performance:
UltraCare HD Cleaner Zero is a concentrated deep cleaner for porcelain and unpolished natural stone. It quickly removes organic dirt, grease and wax – as well as algae, blackspot, tree sap and stains caused by leaves – restoring a paver’s aesthetic, as well as slip-resistant properties.
UltraCare Grout Release provides benefits both before and after grouting. Applied before installation, it prevents grout ingress on porous stone and acts as a sacrificial sealer on porcelain. After installation, it makes the removal of grout easier from both natural stone and external porcelain.
