CERSAIE 2020 POSTPONED UNTIL NOVEMBER


In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Confindustria Ceramica and EdiCer SpA have decided to postpone Cersaie. Known as the world’s largest international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, the event was originally scheduled to run from 28 September - 2 October 2020 in Bologna, Italy.


The new dates for Cersaie 2020 will be 9 - 13 November, and the adapted format will include lectures and programming focused on ceramic tile as a hygienic solution for the future of architecture and design.


FMB: DELAY TO REVERSE CHARGE VAT IS VICTORY


FOR COMMON SENSE Following a cross-industry campaign to delay the implementation of reverse charge VAT for construction, led by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the government has announced it will be pushed back by five months. While the industry called for a delay of one year, five months will give small businesses in the supply chain much-needed breathing space to work towards recovering cashflow.

The show organisers have agreed that postponement is the best solution to preserve the welfare of Cersaie’s international participants and allow more time for economic recovery.
