Flooring Retailer Strengthens Team with New Appointments
Poshflooring.co.uk, the online arm of nationwide retailer Flooring Republic, has expanded its marketing team with the appointment of a new Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive.
Alex Humphries has been hired for the role of Digital Marketing Manager, having previously worked for another online flooring retailer where he held the same position. A graduate from the University of Huddersfield with an honours degree in Broadcast Journalism, Alex also has experience in the digital sector from his time with Leeds-based digital marketing agency Blueclaw.
Alex commented: “I’m delighted to be joining Flooring Republic at this exciting time. The company has real ambition in terms of growth, and a real dedication to delivering a high standard of customer service.
“I’m hoping that, with my experience within the flooring sector, I can help guide the company’s digital operation to deliver positive results.”
Louis De Poortere To Reveal New Designs At Decorex
At this year’s prestigious Decorex event, rug specialist Louis de Poortere, will be bringing new designs and colours to its collections of rugs, as well as showcasing its Tailor Made and Les Tisse custom programmes.
With two new designs in Agadir and Babylon, the jacquard woven Bobohemian is expanded, both styles capturing the essence of a grand faded elegance that typifies the collection. Multiple layers of pattern, distressed areas and intricate stitching give these flatweave styles a truly vintage look. Agadir and Babylon come in eight sizes and four colourways each, made from a wool-rich, cotton chenille blend.

Meanwhile, Ben Duke has been appointed as Digital Marketing Executive. Also a Broadcast Journalism graduate of the University of Huddersfield, Ben brings significant content experience having worked on projects for Super League side Huddersfield Giants and Yorkshire County Cricket Club, as well as Reading and Leeds Festival organisers Festival Republic.
On his new role, Ben said: “It’s great to have been given this opportunity to begin my journey in the marketing sphere, and I’m really excited to get started.”
