LUXURY VINYL TILES (LVT) FOCUS ON A Breath of Fresh Air it seems
e a preference a timeless real thing is endly. This is
d and new, LVT reate the look n solution. is ideal for as kitchens, ty of different
homeowners of their house.
This year, staying true to the Great British weather, we’ve had few opportunities to fully embrace nature with not much sign of sunshine and many rainy days. However, this hasn’t stopped us from adding a bit of light and character into everyday life by bringing the outside into our homes. From big, bold prints to more subtle injections of nature, biophilic designs have been hugely prevalent in LVT flooring this year and we can only expect to see more of this as we move into 2018. If your customer is not scared to experiment, Atrafloor’s scenic solutions are a great way to really make an impact. For a more understated effect, Harvey Maria’s lattice-effect tiles emulate the light and airy feel of the great outdoors whilst remaining chic and easy to pair with the rest of the decor.
Shades of Grey
Contrary to the bright, nature-inspired colours mentioned above, some of us are going in the complete opposite direction and channelling a more industrial effect with dark, metallic-like tones and textures. The colour grey has appeared frequently throughout product releases this year, particularly in LVT. From pale, white-washed effects to deep, ashy tones; the options are endless when it comes to fading foggy shades into interiors. Incorporating a pattern with it, such as parquet, will keep it lively and prevent it from looking dull.
