34 TOMORROW’S HEALTH & SAFETY YEARBOOK 2017/18

In early 2017, the FPA was proud to launch the Business and Property Protection Portal, a comprehensive tool for business resilience offering you the opportunity to embed your products or services into its intelligent framework. It combines business loss statistics with geographical risk factors to produce bespoke reporting of loss mitigation measures – just from the simple inputs of business type and postcode.

The FPA exhibits annually at FIREX International and provides a theatre of well-attended, topical presentations across the duration of the event.

FPA also runs its flagship event towards the end of each year, the Fire Sector Summit. For 2017 the FPA was recently excited to announce that ‘Good Morning Britain’ newsreader Charlotte Hawkins will act as chair of the event. Themes for the 2017 event include heritage, business continuity and active fire protection. A ministerial address from Brandon Lewis MP, the fire minister is also planned.
