UVEX UNVEILS WHITE PAPER ON NEW PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR STANDARD


uvex, a manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), has released a new White Paper ‘Demystifying the New Eyewear Standard: EN ISO 16321-1:2022’ which is essential reading for anyone responsible for specifying safety eyewear.

STOCKSIGNS TAKES ON MOUNT OLYMPUS ON BEHALF OF THE CHILDREN’S TRUST


Stocksigns has raised £17,036 for The Children’s Trust through its latest fundraising challenge. This year the team from the Surrey-based signage manufacturer and supplier flew out to Greece to take on a two-day trek of Mount Olympus, climbing an impressive 2,918 metres above sea-level.


Mount Olympus, the mythological seat of the gods, is one of the most challenging hikes attempted by the company to date. A group of customers also joined the Stocksigns team this year including D2D Associates Limited, Tenzing Search, Seymour Civil Engineering and Clearview Intelligence.


The group flew to Thessaloniki on the 21 June before travelling to their base – the town of Olympiaki. The first day of the challenge was a 550ft climb, before stopping at the refuge overnight. Day two was an early start and the team tackled the intense 300ft of elevation up the Class III YSD-graded mountain to its summit.


In total, the team raised over £17,000 for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain
