In today's world, the importance of sustainability cannot be overstated. Bollé Safety, a global leader in eye protection PPE, recognises the critical role to play in contributing to a healthier planet. From the development of their first eco-friendly packaging back in 2000 to the launch of their comprehensive and ambitious ESG strategy in 2021, Bollé Safety has been on an accelerated journey of sustainable innovation and transformation over recent years, setting a new standard in the sector.
REDUCING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT With ambitious goals and actions set for 2027 and 2030, we are committed to develop a more sustainable business model. As part of our ESG strategic plan, we aim to reduce CO2 emissions by 35% per product by 2027. This target underscores our dedication to combating climate change and minimising our carbon footprint. Achieving this objective involves a multi-faceted approach, including optimising production processes, investing in low-carbon energy, and enhancing energy efficiency across all operations. We are continuously evaluating our supply chain to identify and mitigate sources of emissions, ensuring that every step from production to delivery is as environmentally friendly as possible.
DEVELOPING ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCTS
& PACKAGING Our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection is at the heart of our mission. We are determined to offer products that ensure maximum

protection for professionals while minimising our ecological impact. Looking ahead from 2025, we aim for 70% of our new products to be eco-designed, incorporating at least 20% recycled or biobased materials. This initiative not only reduces waste but also promotes the use of sustainable resources.
Sustainable Innovation: Our focus on eco-design ensures that sustainability is integrated into the DNA of our innovations right from the outset. By incorporating sustainable practices and materials into the design process, we can reduce environmental impact from the ground up. In a move to make it easier for consumers to make products with lower environmental impact, we are transforming some of our best-selling products into eco-designed versions, ensuring that sustainability does not come at the expense of quality or performance.
Sustainable Packaging: Packaging is a significant contributor to waste, and we are addressing this by committing to 95% eco-designed packaging by 2025. A major part of our packaging is made from recycled or biobased materials, significantly reducing our reliance on non-renewable resources. We have also developed packaging solutions that minimise material use and enhance recyclability.
