HEALTH AND SAFETY NORTH 2019
Now in its twelfth year, Health and Safety North takes place from 8-9 October. We shine the spotlight on what ’s in store for 2019.
Making a return to EventCity Manchester for the third consecutive year, Health and Safety North will once again be co-located with Fire Safety North. The event is the biggest of its kind in the north of England and boasts more than 150 exhibitors showcasing all the latest products, innovations and services in the health and safety sector.
This year will see increased number of visitors with more than 2000 delegates expected to attend and even more equipment on display. As always, content will be at the heart of the event with more than 30 hours of CPD accredited content on offer across three theatres. These will feature educational seminars, industry debates and practical presentations. Test the latest technology, select the most up-to-date solutions and confer with like-minded professionals.

In partnership with the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) and the British Safety Council (BSC), and supported by key industry, regulatory and media organisations, such as the Access Industry Forum, IOSH, Energy Institute, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and Nebosh, the Health & Safety North Event provides an unrivalled opportunity for professionals to network and learn about the latest theories to help reduce occupational risks and protect people at work.
EDUCATIONAL CONTENT Every year the events pride themselves on gathering the industry’s most respected voices to share fresh perspectives and insights on the challenges and solutions of today. This year is no exception. The British Safety Council (BSC), the Health & Safety North show’s educational partner, will deliver this year’s conference theatre content covering leadership and influencing organisational culture on day one and managing health and wellbeing within the workplace on day two. The opening session will offer a health and safety legislative update by Chris Green from Keoghs Solicitors.
